I don’t know a thing about you, but I’ll bet that you just like everyone wants glowing clear skin that is firm and blemish-free, but when you look around, you realize that most people don’t have it. Even our famous celebrities use tons of makeup to “cover up” their problems. They promote cosmetics like “Cover Girl” that contain ingredients that are damaging to our skin’s health and appearance.
Times are changing. People are beginning to realize that all of the synthetic chemicals that have been the workhorses of the cosmetic and food industries are not actually good for our health. Naturalists believe that these chemicals are the cause of the high cancer rates and other diseases that we see. So, now, it is easier to find cosmetics and other personal care products that contain all natural ingredients, processed in such a way to make them feel wonderful and actually benefit the skin’s health.
Your first step towards glowing clear skin may be to go through your bathroom cabinets and shower stalls, discarding products that contain petrolatum, mineral oil, paraffin wax, triclosan, petroleum based alcohols like ethyl and methyl, parabens, thimerosal, artificial dyes and added fragrances. For cologne, use a small amount of an essential oil, like lavender or rosewater. If you want to be extra safe, put it on your clothing, rather than your skin.
All of the ingredients mentioned above are common allergens and irritants. They either clog the pores or strip natural oils, which stimulates the sebaceous glands to produce more and more oils, which build up and cause blemishes. They change the natural pH balance, which encourages bacterial growth and increases the risk of infection.
Of course, you may have to buy all new products, so you’ll need to know what to look for. For cleansing, the best ingredients are tea tree oil and manuka honey. These have natural antibacterial activity and antioxidant activity.
Always follow your cleanser with a moisturizer that contains ingredients that nourish, balance sebum production and support the skin’s natural rejuvenation processes. For glowing clear skin, you need to stimulate the cell turnover rate. Deep within the skin’s layers, new cells are forming. These cells gradually make their way to the surface, pushing away older damaged cells. To support this process, some folks recommend exfoliation, but that causes irritation and inflammation, which leads to blemishes.
My recommendation for glowing clear skin is a cream containing Functional Keratin, which has been shown in clinical studies to increase the production of new cells. Instead of causing inflammation, Functional Keratin works against it by inhibiting the production of inflammatory compounds, known as PGE2.
If you’re a man that shaves, the best shaving lubricant is plain grape seed oil. When you finish shaving, you should follow up with a cream that contains Functional Keratin, because shaving increases inflammation and contributes to blemishes.
Now that you are armed with this information, as for makeup, buy natural and organic products made from minerals and plant extracts. They may be harder to find, but if you really want glowing clear skin, it’s worth your effort to look for them.

Drug that boosts smoking cessation
Most smokers wish to stop smoking but are unable to do so due to strong nicotine addiction. The main ingredient in cigarettes is nicotine that affects some receptors in the brain which produces pleasant feelings for a short while.
It may look a difficult task for smokers to stop smoking all of a sudden if they have been living with this habit for a long period of time, but it is certainly not an impossible task. The road to smoking cessation can be traversed easily if you take a look at the endless adverse smoking effects. This can prove helpful to firm up the resolve to stop smoking.
What are smoking effects?
The World Health Organization has declared that smoking is the leading cause of preventable deaths and diseases among people worldwide. It can lead to serious conditions like lung cancer, heart problems, heart attack and even stroke.
Smoking can affect the taste buds of a regular smoker and eventually that adult loses taste of food. It can also lead to problems in hair, skin, and even affect neurological processes.
It is not only active smoking that causes health risks but also passive smoking that is just as dangerous for health. A regular smoker can cause health problems for other family members by smoking indoors. Some children also try to imitate this habit from their elders at home. So there are endless ways in which a smoker affects his or her health as well as that of others. Women smokers who smoke during pregnancy can create great health risks for their unborn babies.
Quit smoking help for smokers
Although there are many smoking cessation aids, smokers should only opt for effective ones. Chantix is among the latest smoking cessation drugs that can show some positive results. It is manufactured by Pfizer and has been approved by the FDA for use in the US. In European countries and the UK, Chantix is known by the brand name, Champix.
How Chantix works?
This drug works on the brain receptors to reduce nicotine cravings as well as withdrawal effects that are most common among smokers after they stop smoking. The best thing about this drug is that it satisfies nicotine receptors in the brain without supplying any nicotine. This is unlike other stop smoking drugs that reduce cravings and withdrawal effects by supplying small doses of nicotine in the brain. The main ingredient in Chantix is varenicline tartrate.
What are doses of Chantix?
This stop smoking drug is available in two strengths that include 0.5mg and 1mg tablets. The treatment starts with the lower dose for about one week and dosage is increased in subsequent weeks as per the recommendations of the doctor. The treatment with Chantix is generally recommended for a period of 12 weeks. In some cases, the desired results may be slow, so the doctor can continue the treatment for another 12 weeks.
Are there any side effects?
Side effects are common with every prescription drug, so Chantix is no exception. The most common Chantix side effects are nausea, constipation, gas, unusual dreams, and vomiting. In some cases, it can give rise to adverse reactions like suicidal thoughts, changes in mood and behavior. But these side effects are rare and this drug has proved helpful in most cases. This drug has helped conversion of many smokers into successful non-smokers.

DISCOVER WHAT IS HIDING IN YOUR BATHROOM!
(Part 3)
REVIEW FROM OUR LAST ARTICLE
In our last article we discussed how our skin works as a protective barrier and how it functions to absorb the ingredients that we put on it. We discussed the harms of synthetic products on the skin and touched on a few ingredients commonly found in skin care that are damaging to our skin and health. Seven Arrows Color Connection and the Toxic Truth Website (http://www.toxictruth.com ) will now conclude their series of “Discover what is hiding in your bathroom” articles by addressing specific ingredients found in most bathrooms and the damaging effects that they have on our bodies.
WHICH INGREDIENTS ARE HARMFUL?
There are thousands of ingredients that could be labeled as “harmful” if they are not used in the right way and for the right purposes. For example, the three main ingredients in anti-freeze are: Water, ethylene glycol and diethylene glycol. Now, used in the cooling system of your car these ingredients are fantastic and keep your car running in tip, top shape. However, have you ever taken the time to read the warning labels on the back of an anti freeze jug? Here’s one of them (the particular jug that I looked at had a total of four (4) warning or pre-cautionary labels on the back of it).
Here are warnings that can be found on some of these products: “WARNING: Do not drink antifreeze or solution. Do not inhale mist or hot vapors. Avoid prolonged exposure. Avoid skin and eye contact”. Another warning says: “Wash exposed skin thoroughly with soap and water after use”. These are just a couple of the warnings found on the back label.
Why would we mention anti freeze. After all, we don’t put anti freeze on your skin. Everyone knows we put anti freeze in a car. Two of the three ingredients in antifreeze are glycol based. Glycol and its derivatives are everywhere in skin care and personal care products. If you don’t believe it, just grab a bottle of shampoo, cleanser, or lotion. Many of them have glycol in them, particularly the cleansers. You see, that’s what Propylene Glycol is – a garage floor cleaner!
Here is a more scientific explanation of Propylene Glycol (PG). PG along with Butylene Glycol (BG), Polyethylene Glycol (PEG), and Ethylene Glycol (EG) are petroleum derivatives that act as solvents, surfactants, and setting agents. They can easily penetrate the skin, and can weaken protein and cellular structure. In fact, PG penetrates the skin so quickly that the EPA warns factory workers to avoid skin contact, to prevent brain, liver, and kidney abnormalities. PG is present in many stick deodorants, often in heavier concentrations than in most industrial applications. 50 And Propylene Glycol is what is used to carry the “active” ingredients in those trans dermal patches INTO YOUR BODY. (“Toxicological Profile for Ethylene Glycol and Propylene Glycol (UPDATE).” Agency for Toxic Substances and disease Registry (ATSDR). Atlanta, GA: U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Public Health Service, 1996).
Some of the worst offenders in our personal care products are: Ethyl Paraben (linked to hormone disruption, possible birth defects), DEA, MEA, TEA. These are emulsifiers and deep foaming agents in soaps, shampoos, etc. that have been linked to (memory gaps, foggy thinking and cancer). Sodium Laureth Sulfate, possible dioxin contamination. A 1992 FDA survey found 54 ethoxylated raw materials used in cosmetics were tested; all 54 contained 1,4 dioxane. Also, the highly toxic 1,4 dioxane was in 27 out of 30 children’s bubble bath and shampoo products. “Nontoxic, Natural & Earthwise”, Debra Lynn Dadd, Jeremy P. Tarcher, Inc., Los Angeles, CA, 1990.
You will never see the ingredient dioxane listed on an ingredient label because it is a by product of many of the other ingredients. Dioxins are a class of chlorine-containing chemicals widely recognized as some of the most toxic chemicals ever made by humans. A 1992 FDA survey found the highly toxic 1,4 dioxane in 27 out of 30 children’s bubble bath and shampoo products. In addition, 54 ethoxylated raw materials used in cosmetics were tested; all 54 contained 1,4 dioxane. (Toxic Alarm™ Guide, Linda Chae and “A Healthe House”, www.checnet.org/healthehouse/chemicals.
Some of the other worst offenders you will find on most labels are:
• SLS,
• BHA & BHT (linked to behavior problems),
• Parabens (linked as hormone disrupters)
• PABA and PABA esters (linked to playing a role in genetic damage),
• Phthalates (linked to causing birth defects in animals, and are present in a high percentage of pregnant and child-bearing-aged women). Phthalates have been banned in Europe.
Let’s not forget Fluoride. Have you ever read the warning label on the back of a tube of toothpaste? Here’s one: “Warnings Keep out of reach of children under 6 yrs. of age. If more than used for brushing is accidentally swallowed, get medical help or contact a Poison Control
Center right away.”
Are you scared yet? We should be, but don’t take my word for it. Look for yourselves. That’s the purpose of this article. Look at the labels. Become educated. Take a stand and do something about it. Until we do, we will continue to be at the mercy of these ingredients and these manufacturers.
I’ve listed a few of the “side affects” of some of these ingredients. Here are a few more “alarming” facts.
• Premature Birth,
• Depression and Moodiness,
• Male Genital Defects,
• Emotional Disturbances,
• Brain Development,
• Obesity,
• Learning Disorders,
• Low Sperm Count,
• Reduces I.Q. and Memory,
• Cancer,
• Sexual Identity Confusion
• Early Puberty (breast development in girls and boys). “ToxicAlarm™ Guide”. Linda Chae.
This is a partial list of some of the “prices” we pay, particularly our children, for the things we put on our skin to make us look and smell good.

There is every chance that you, or a family member, colleague, or friend has been affected in some way by breast cancer.
The words ‘breast cancer’ send a chill of fear down everyone’s spine. What is breast cancer and can you prevent it? Here are some facts about breast cancer that every woman should know. You will also learn more about prevention and early detection, especially important if you have a history of cancer in your family.
What Should I Know About Breast Cancer?
There are over two hundred different types of cancer and according to the American Cancer Society breast cancer is the second most common form of cancer in women. While it is also possible for a man to get breast cancer women are 100 times more likely to develop it than men.
There are several forms of breast cancer that occur in different areas of the breast. Most breast cancers are treated with radiation, chemotherapy or surgery. The treatment program determined for any individual depends on the type of cancer, how far it has spread and where it is located. While great strides are taking place in cancer treatment, prevention and early detection are by far the most preferable options.
The statistics are grim. The American Cancer Society reports that 1 in 8 women in the US will experience invasive breast cancer in her lifetime. The chance of dying from breast cancer is one in 33, but that number is decreasing as new forms of treatment and early detection are being implemented.
The good news is that it is possible for women to reduce their risk of dying from breast cancer. When breast cancer is discovered and treated early, the chances for recovery are better.
Women with a high risk should primarily discuss the possible preventive measures currently available with their doctor. However, various simple self-help measures are described below.
Who is Most Likely to Get Breast Cancer?
While every woman has some level of risk there are certain factors that increase the likelihood a person may develop breast cancer. Not having these risk factors does not mean you will not develop cancer just as being at a high risk doesn’t mean you will develop cancer.
Smoking, age and family history are the common factors that are assessed when determining risk.
While smoking can be controlled, age and family history cannot. The older you are the greater the risk that you will develop breast cancer. Almost 8 out of 10 women diagnosed with breast cancer are over 50. If women in your family developed breast cancer you are also at an increased risk.
Certain genetic changes increase the risk that a woman will develop cancer to as high as 80%. Testing for these changes can help a woman and her doctor discuss preventative measures that might be taken.
Caucasian women have a higher risk of developing breast cancer but African-American women more often die from the disease. Asians, Hispanics and American Indian women are less likely to get it.
Starting your period (menstruation) before age 12 or going through menopause after 55 slightly increases the risk.
Having taken the drug DES (diethylstilbestrol), which some women were given in the belief it would prevent them from losing a baby, slightly increases the risk while radiation to the chest earlier in life greatly increases the risk.
Being overweight, use of alcohol, long term use of HRT (hormone replacement therapy) and not having children have all been linked to an increased risk of breast cancer. Using birth control pills may increase the risk and should be discussed with your doctor.
On the other hand exercise, healthy eating (especially reducing the intake of alcohol and red meats) or having had children early in life and breastfeeding for as long as 18 to 24 months have been linked to a reduced risk of developing breast cancer.
What Else Can I Do to Reduce the Risk?
While there are no cures yet, researchers have discovered that a healthy lifestyle is the best way to prevent cancer. Since cancer is a disease that starts in our cells, everything we eat and are exposed to can affect them.
Choose to be a non-smoker and avoid second-hand smoke.
In regards to diet, choose a variety of lower fat, high fiber foods. Studies have shown that intake of total fat, saturated fat and meat are associated with an increased risk of breast cancer. Maintain a healthy body weight and limit alcohol consumption.
Protect yourself from the sun.
At home and at work, follow health and safety instructions when using hazardous materials.
The link between an active lifestyle and breast cancer prevention is as yet unclear but general health is improved when regular exercise is an integral part of a person’s lifestyle.
Early Detection
Since early detection is so important it is vital that women learn how to detect lumps in their breasts and understand what precautions must be taken. Those who are more at risk of developing cancer should take extra steps to detect cancer as early as possible.
While a doctor or nurse can show you how to perform a BSE (breast self-exam) the American Cancer Society still recommends that women in their twenties and thirties should have a clinical exam every three years and once a year after 40. In later years most women should also have regular mammograms to catch cancers earlier. But what about the time in between mammograms and clinical exams?
This is when regular self examination is so important.
Every woman should know her own breasts so that any changes are noticed soon and can be checked out by a physician.
Regardless of age, all women should do a monthly breast self-examination a few days after their period. When doing breast self-examination, things to look for include: dimpling or puckering of the skin, swelling, discharges other than milk, bleeding or any other change to the nipple, or the appearance of what is sometimes called ‘orange peel skin’.
Any place in your breasts that feels lumpy or harder than the rest needs to be brought to the attention of a doctor. Most breast problems are not breast cancer and most lumps are not cancerous. When a lump is not cancerous it is referred to as ‘benign’. A cancerous lump is called ‘malignant’. But only a professional clinician can make that diagnosis and it’s no use waiting, worrying and hoping it will go away. Sometimes small lumps, in the early stages, are hard to find, but the earlier a lump is diagnosed, the better, so catch lumps small – don’t wait until they’re large.
Taking care of ourselves, including regular breast examinations, is an ongoing commitment that requires self-discipline and knowledge. It is well worth the effort as early diagnosis is definitely the most important factor in surviving breast cancer.

AN ARTICLE ON CANCER
What is cancer?
Cancer is the general term used for diseases in which normal cells separate without any control thus involving other tissues. Cancer cells can also spread to various parts of the body through the blood and lymph system.
Wild cell growth turns into cancer when it is exposed to carcinogens (Cancer- causing substance) genetic defects, or viruses. A tumour is formed when cancer cells multiply large masses of tissue. In some cases tumours limit themselves to one spot in the body; some can be removed by surgery. These kinds of tumours may cause little harm and is termed benign. Hostile tumours are called malignant. The study of cancer is called oncology.
Causes of Cancer
People get lung cancer most of the time from smoking tobacco which is said to have carcinogenic substance mainly known as tobacco smoke. Some carcinogens include certain chemicals, the Sun’s ultraviolet light, and radiation. Cancer can be formed by several viruses by altering the DNA of a host cell and converting the cell’s normal genes into cancer – causing genes, or oncogenes. Genetic factors – such as chromosomal abnormalities or the inheritance of faulty genes from a parent of fore parent. This could most likely cause these persons who inherit these genes can end up having cancer. People that are Down syndrome, a chromosomal abnormality are susceptible to leukaemia.
How is cancer formed?
When a normal cell transforms into a cancer cell the genetic material (deoxyribonucleic acid or DNA) of a cell is changed, or mutated. Tumours don’t form over night they formed over decades or a certain amount of years, because of this it is very susceptible to formed into a cancer cell as time goes along. Most cancer occurs after the age of fifty, yet some are detected earlier in life, it varies.
Different types of cancer
It has been accessed that there are over more than 200 different types of cancers. They are named after the tissue or the organ they begin to form. The term Leukemia refers to cancer of white blood cells (can be also called leukocytes). Melanomas are cancers that begin in melanocytes (skin pigmentation.

Treatments for cancer
Oncologists have been using Chemotherapy, or drug therapy to help cancer patience around the world. When cancer spreads to different parts of the body chemotherapy is used to help treat the cancer, before it gets worst. The immune system is weak when cancer spreads through the body. Therefore a treatment name immune enhancing drugs or antibodies are also used to help build back up the immune system and to destroy abnormal cells. There has been an anticancer drug that kills cancer cells while leaving the good ones alive. This drug was introduced in the spring of 2001. The drug, Gleevec has proven to work very strongly against chronic myelogenous leukaemia, leukaemia is one of the four main types of blood cancer.
How can u prevent cancer?
Cancer can be prevented by doing the following:
¬For all smokers the only way that you can avoid yourself from getting lung cancer is to stop smoking.
¬Try not to be in the sun for lengthy periods, too much exposure to the sun can cause cancer
¬Lessen your high- fat diets
¬Avoid alcohol as much as possible
¬Unsafe sex
¬Other Carcinogens could prevent more than 80% of all cancer cases.
¬Do yearly testing; this would detect it in the early stage if you are tested positive, early treatment can be taken.
The following are various tests than can be taken to see if you have cancer.
Skin Cancer: Skin examination this is done by the naked eye of the doctor. If any area may look suspicious then biopsy is done and under the microscope cancer cells are examined
Prostate Cancer:
· Digital Rectal Examination: Prostrate is examined by a doctor using his/her finger from the lower part from the rectum. When you reach fifty years it must be done at least once a year. If there was any sign before that you may have prostrate then do a test once every year even though you may be under forty
Breast Cancer:
· Breast Self Examination: when you reach twenty years of age, this examination must be taken once every month.
· Clinical Breast Examination: the breasts and regions under the arms should be examined also, between the ages of 20 and 40 years. Once every three years this examination should be carried out, and once every year after the age of forty.
· Mammogram: Imaging of the breasts with X rays. It must be done once every year after 40 years of age.
An illustration of how a mammogram is done
Lung Cancer:
Chest X-ray: It is imaging of organs and bones in chest with X-ray. Especially if you are a smoker you should do chest x –rays at least twice a year.
Colorectal Cancer:
· Fecal Occult Blood Test: Blood in stool which can be seen only under microscope is examined. It must be done once every year after 50 years of age.
Why cancer has and is becoming more prevalent
Over the last generation there has been vast difference between the way we use to live and how we are now living. I can almost say that we live in a different world. Technology has been increased by a large percentage. Smelter plants, environmental chemical, polluted air, microwaves, computers, utensils and a lot of foods are said to be cancerous to us. Meats that are harmonized (e.g. chicken), plants, vegetables, fruits etc. these are all things that should make us healthy, but instead it can be deadly to us. Because of the amount of hormones that are being injected into them, plants and trees are being sprayed with insecticide, fertilizers as though these liquids are water. Then they are being sold to groceries, farmers etc, for us to buy and eat.
Is there any cure for cancer?
Since cancer has been detected, no cure solution has ever been introduced. Various anti–cancer tablets and chemotherapy was put in place in order to control cancer cells. Cancer, AIDS and Sugar diabetes are the three major sicknesses that have no cure. Although there are things out there to help cancer. It is proven that more and more people are getting cancer. Women have become prone to Breast cancer for the past 3o years. United States had even poured out $30 billion to help find a solution to cure cancer.

Many people are finding different ways on how to have healthy aging skin. Nowadays, you can choose from a wide variety of skincare treatments anywhere, which promise you to be younger looking. Most of the products claim that they are the best treatments for aging skin but only few can live to these claims. The most effective skincare treatments are those that have natural components that are safer to use.
With the many treatments, therapies and surgical procedures, defying age with the most natural method is still the best. This includes consuming good foods, having good sleeping habits and living an active way of life. Best treatments for aging skin is not necessarily those expensive skincare products but preventing the damaging effects of harmful factors that can cause premature aging. Smoking is known to be one of the main factors of having wrinkles and fine lines. In addition, smoking has other dangerous effects to our health including lung cancer and other diseases. Make an effort to stop smoking to slow down the appearance of premature wrinkles.
Washing face habitually is not necessary when you are older. Acne and oiliness is no longer a problem with old age, but dryness. If you wash your face with soap frequently, it may result to dryness. Using warm water on your face is one way on how to have healthy aging skin. In addition, it is necessary to remove make up in the evening before sleeping. Skincare treatment are literally everywhere and it is a fact that most of these treatments do not have strong effective ingredients. For instance, an effective anti-wrinkle agent is vitamin E and a good skincare product must contain at least one-half percent of the total treatment product. There are only few skincare treatments that have enough vitamin E.
It is necessary to use the best treatments for aging skin regularly to get the best benefits. You cannot get the outmost effect if you only use your moisturize once in a while. Make sure to use your skincare treatment regularly and faithfully. In addition, moisturizers are more absorbed when skin is a little warm and moist. Skincare creams are better used right after taking a shower. Remember to take care of your skin gently.
One of the best treatments for aging skin is drinking filtered water to help in eliminating body toxins. Filtered water also helps in losing weight, and moisturizing the body from the inside, making it healthy and soft. Considering your diet is also necessary. Sugary and processed foods must be avoided. Instead, eat plenty of foods that are high in protein such as fish, nuts and meat. If you want to stay young, look young and feel young, a twenty-minute walk everyday is beneficial. Moreover, have an adequate sleep and rest to keep your body healthy.
Nutritional supplements including fish oil capsules are also best treatments for aging skin. Fish oil provides essential fatty acids that help in nourishing the cells and lessen aches and pains. If you are considering skincare products, choose the ones that are chemical free. Chemicals tend to add toxins in the body.

Crohn’s disease is a condition which causes inflammation of the digestive or gastrointestinal (GI) tract. It can occur anywhere in the GI tract; but is predominant in the lower part of the small intestine, in the ileum. This swelling reaches the lining of the affected organ to cause pain and leads to the frequent emptying of intestines to lead to diarrhea.
Crohn’s disease is referred by different names depending on the inflammation that occurs in different parts of the intestine. Inflammation that is found in the end of the small intestine is referred to as Crohn’s terminal ileitis and Crohn’s entero-coilitis and ileo-colitis are the terms used to describe the inflammation of the small intestine and colon. In both cases of Crohn’s disease, a small intestinal obstruction, diarrhea and abdominal pain are the common symptoms.
As the symptoms of Crohn’s disease are similar to other intestinal disorders, they are difficult to diagnose. Sufferers usually have all the layers of the intestine involved in the infection where there may also be healthy bowel found in between the sections of diseased bowel. The most common symptoms are abdominal pain, rectal bleeding, arthritis, skin problems, fever and sometimes persistent bleeding that leads to anemia.
Crohn’s disease is a life long condition where there are flare ups of the symptoms that tend to alternate with periods of remission. There is no actual trigger for a relapse but when a person suffers from symptoms of Crohn’s disease it indicates that the disease is active.
Diarrhea that arises from Crohn’s disease may contain blood, pus or mucus that may go up to 10 or 20 times a day, even at night. This may in turn lead to painful tears or fissures developing around the anus. The pain in the abdomen associated with Crohn’s disease is referred to be cramping or colicky. In such cases, the abdomen becomes sore to the touch, and tends to swell up.
Weight loss is another symptom of Crohn’s disease that is a consequence of diarrhea and the loss of appetite a person develops when suffering from Crohn’s disease. Another symptom of Crohn’s disease is mouth ulcers, joint pain, inflammation in the eyes and rashes or ulcers that are found on the skin.
A chronic sufferer of Crohn’s disease experiences severe inflammation complications which includes fistula which is an abnormal connection that exists between the bowel and a part near the bowel like the bladder, vagina or loop of bowel. These fistulas can lead to recurrent infections of the urinary genital tracts.
Some people suffer from other complications like abscesses that form inside the abdomen or perhaps a stricture that tends to obstruct the passage of bowel movements. And a person, who has suffered from Crohn’s disease for eight to ten years, faces an increased risk of getting bowel cancer.
As it can be seen there are numerous symptoms to Crohn’s disease which are similar to a case of indigestion and piles it is necessary to have a check up with recurrence of the symptoms. This is to prevent complications that may lead to bowel cancer.

This may come as a surprise to you, but many of the skin care creams you see on TV or in magazine ads contain harmful substances. Some have even been shown to be cancerous in clinical studies. I don’t want to alarm you, but you should be very careful about what you rub into your skin.
Skin is the largest organ in the body. Anything applied topically to the skin will be heavily absorbed (through pores) into the body.
When choosing an anti-wrinkle product, focus solely on ingredients. Ignore the big name celebrity endorsing it, the millions being poured into marketing it, and even a friend or relative recommending it. Only the ingredients tell the real story.
Here are two to avoid…
Mineral oil (also called paraffin, paraffin wax, petrolatum) is very popular among skin care manufacturers. It’s cheap. But it also prevents skin from breathing. It stops up pores, which causes toxins to build up and acne to break out.
Using a mineral oil product will also cause chapping and dryness. Your skin will actually become dependent on mineral oil. And prolonged, repeated exposure, ironically enough, will cause premature aging (the thing you’re trying to prevent).
Dioxane (a synthetic derivative of coconut) is also frequently added to anti aging skin care products. And it’s also bad. Not only is it found in anti-wrinkle creams, it’s found in high concentrations. The State of California actually considers dioxane “a chemical known to cause cancer”. Make sure this ingredient is not listed on the label.
These are two of the worst ingredients. I could list a couple more, but I don’t want to make this article too long. You should just be aware that even name-brand skin care products can contain these harmful ingredients. Don’t be a sucker and fall for slick advertising.
Also, when I said “focus solely on the ingredients” before, I didn’t just mean the bad ones. You should also know the ingredients that are the most effective in preventing wrinkles, lines, and sagging skin. It’s your responsibility as a consumer to know both the good and the bad.
Visit my site for more information on finding a quality anti aging skin care product You’ll find an in-depth list of what to look for and what not to look for on a skin care cream label.
